Apollo alternatives for European sales teams (2026): 7 options

Comparison

The short answer

Apollo publishes its prices, so price is rarely the only reason to leave. Teams that switch usually do so because of credits, phones or Europe: Apollo's credits expire at the end of each billing cycle, a mobile number costs eight credits against one for an email, and its database is not built on European company registers. For better outreach and deliverability, lemlist. For a like-for-like contact tool priced in euros, Kaspr. For phone-verified European mobiles, Cognism. For an AI-led outbound platform, Amplemarket. For combining providers, Clay. For fewer credits per phone number, Lusha. For European SMEs from the registers, Bizzy.

Bizzy is our product, and it is in this list. Every figure comes from the vendors' own websites, checked in September 2026, with sources linked. This is not legal advice.

Why teams look beyond Apollo

Credits. Apollo's paid tiers are priced per user, with a credit allowance; an email costs one credit and a mobile number eight, and credits expire at the end of each billing cycle rather than rolling over, as listed when we checked on 17 September 2026 (Apollo pricing). Teams that call more than they email run through the allowance fast.

Europe. Apollo publishes 240 million-plus contacts and 30 million-plus accounts worldwide (Apollo data), but no European or per-country breakdown, and its data does not start from company registers. Of the 2,027,758 Belgian companies in our database, 461,329 have a website on record and 131,137 a LinkedIn company page, a rough indication of how many companies are visible online; the mechanism is in why international prospecting tools miss Belgian SMEs.

One tool for everything. Apollo combines data and sequences in one tool. Some teams outgrow that and want a specialist for either the data or the sending. The one-to-one comparison is in Bizzy vs Apollo.

The alternatives

1. lemlist. For teams that chose Apollo for its sequences. lemlist is built around sending: email, LinkedIn, calls, SMS and WhatsApp, with warm-up and a deliverability hub, plus a 650 million-plus lead database. The Email plan is US$69 a month, or US$55 yearly, with unlimited users; Multichannel is US$109 per user (lemlist pricing). The catch: its data is a people database, like Apollo's. See Bizzy vs lemlist.

2. Kaspr. The closest European like-for-like for contact reveals. Kaspr SAS is based in Paris, prices in euros and renews monthly: Free with 15 B2B email and 5 phone credits a month, Starter at EUR 45 per user on annual billing (EUR 59 monthly) with unlimited B2B email and 100 phone credits, Business at EUR 99 with 200 (Kaspr pricing). It says it processes personal data within the UK, the EU and the EEA "as far as possible" (Kaspr privacy policy). The catch: its pricing page lists no email sequencing, so you still need a sequencer.

3. Cognism. For teams whose outbound is mostly phone. Its main selling point is phone-verified "Diamond Data"; it says it generally keeps data inside the EEA, and one credit reveals one contact (Cognism pricing, Cognism compliance). The catch: prices are quoted, and its Standard and Pro plans are listed with five seats. See Bizzy vs Cognism.

4. Amplemarket. For teams that want Apollo's all-in-one idea with more AI. Its agent, Duo, builds a model of likely customers from signals and CRM data and runs sequences with email, calls, social steps and voice notes. The Startup plan is US$600 a month on an annual term for two users (Amplemarket pricing). The catch: a higher entry price and an annual term. More AI tools in AI SDR tools for European B2B teams.

5. Clay. For teams tired of an allowance that expires. Clay separates platform actions from data credits, and spends data credits only when you buy data from its "150+ data partners", with tiers from US$185 a month (Clay pricing). The catch: it needs someone to build the workflows. Clay vs Apollo covers the trade-off.

6. Lusha. For teams that mainly need phone numbers. Lusha charges five credits for a phone number against Apollo's eight, though a credit costs a different amount at each vendor, with a free plan of 40 credits a month and Starter at US$49.90 (Lusha pricing). The catch: its privacy notice places data on AWS in the United States, and Italy's regulator fined it EUR 2 million and banned it from processing data about people in Italy on 14 July 2026 (Garante). See Bizzy vs Lusha.

7. Bizzy. For teams whose market is European SMEs and who want the list to start from the register. Bizzy combines Belgian company data from the official registers and other European countries through Creditsafe data with vacancies, Creditsafe credit scores and seven signal types, and its agent delivers a prioritised list every week (Bizzy). Records push into HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Dynamics 365, Teamleader Focus and Odoo, or into lemlist and La Growth Machine for sequences (Bizzy integrations). The catch: Bizzy does not send outreach itself, and it publishes no prices beyond a free start (Bizzy pricing).

How to choose

Split the question in two. If what you are replacing is the sending, look at lemlist or Amplemarket. If it is the data, look at Kaspr or Lusha for contacts, Cognism for phones, Clay for breadth, and Bizzy for European companies. One option is to pair a data source with a sequencer. Then do a credit-burn check: count how many emails and mobile numbers your team reveals in a typical month, and price each shortlisted tool on that number rather than on its entry plan.
