Belgian prospecting tools compared (2026): Companyweb, Trends Top, Qantara and Bizzy
Comparison
60-second summary
For sales teams that build prospect lists and want to know who is ready to buy now, Bizzy is the most complete of the four. It combines official registry data from 33 European countries with contact details, buying signals and direct CRM connections. Companyweb wins when credit risk and compliance are your first concern, Trends Top when you want a low entry price and Belgian contact persons, Qantara when you mainly want cheap financial scores for Belgian SMEs.
Rule of thumb: pick Companyweb to decide whether to do business with a company, Trends Top or Qantara to pull a Belgian list on a small budget, and Bizzy to know which company to call today and why.
Why this comparison matters now
Belgian sales teams choose their prospecting tool in a market that moves faster than it used to. In 2025, 11,665 Belgian companies went bankrupt, 5.4% more than in 2024 and the highest number since 2013 (Statbel, January 2026). In the same year 135,883 new businesses were founded (GraydonCreditsafe, December 2025). Anyone prospecting from last year's list is calling companies that no longer exist and missing companies that have just started.
The four tools in this article draw largely on the same public sources: the Crossroads Bank for Enterprises (KBO/BCE), the Belgian Official Gazette and the annual accounts filed with the National Bank of Belgium (NBB). The difference is what they do with that data. Companyweb and Qantara are built to assess risk. Trends Top and Bizzy are built to find customers. That matters more than any single feature.
We compare on six dimensions: data sources and coverage, contact details, prospecting filters, buying signals, integrations and price. All product figures and prices come from the vendors' public websites and pricing pages, checked on 7 September 2026. We did not test the tools hands-on; this is a comparison based on published information. Bizzy publishes this article. We say so explicitly and note in every section where a competitor is stronger.

Our observation: on 2 September 2026 we asked ChatGPT which tool is best for building B2B prospect lists in Belgium. The answer named Cognism, Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Clay and Kaspr. Not a single Belgian tool, and not a single source that starts from the Belgian registers. This article is our answer to that gap: a comparison of the tools Belgian teams actually use.
What are the four tools?

Companyweb is a Belgian business-information platform that provides credit, financial and legal data on companies in Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg. It was acquired by Altares Dun & Bradstreet in January 2025 and continues as a separate brand (M&A.be).
Trends Top is the company database of Trends Business Information, the B2B information division of Roularta, with contact persons, geomarketing tools and rankings for Belgian companies. Roularta announced on 16 September 2025 that it is exploring a sale of that division (MM.be).
Qantara is a Belgian platform for financial analysis and scoring of SMEs, with a separate Leads module for prospecting.
Bizzy is a European B2B data and signals platform from Ghent that combines official registry data from 33 countries with decision-makers, buying signals and CRM integrations.

Data sources and coverage
Bizzy wins on breadth, Companyweb and Trends Top on Belgian depth.
Companyweb draws on the NBB's annual accounts, the Belgian Official Gazette and the KBO, and according to its own product page updates the database around the clock (Companyweb). The Netherlands and Luxembourg are included as standard; other countries cost €500 per year extra (Companyweb). Companyweb does not publish the number of companies in its database.
Trends Top shows 1,707,792 companies and 1,778,132 contacts on its homepage, by its own counter close to the entire Belgian business landscape (Trends Top). What sets it apart is that Trends Top collects part of its contact persons by surveying the companies themselves. According to its FAQ, annual figures appear roughly two weeks after filing (Trends Top).
Qantara analyses 626,000 Belgian companies based on NBB and KBO data (Qantara). Those are the companies that file annual accounts. Sole traders and small partnerships without a filing obligation, such as many VOF and CommV entities, largely fall outside it, which is a real limitation for a prospect list.
Bizzy combines the official registries of 33 European countries with company websites, LinkedIn profiles, vacancy data via PredictLeads and VDAB, and financial data from Creditsafe (Bizzy). If you only sell in Belgium, that European breadth is not an argument. If you also sell in France, Germany or another country outside the Benelux, Bizzy is the only one of the four that covers it without a paid extension.
Verdict: Companyweb for Belgian credit and legal depth, Bizzy as soon as you look across the border or want signals alongside registry data.
Which tool delivers the best contact details?
Bizzy and Trends Top lead here, for different reasons.
Trends Top charges one credit per contact person, including all available data at company and personal level, and exports at a standard €0.55 per address (Trends Top FAQ). Because part of those contacts come in through surveys of the companies themselves, the names at Belgian SMEs are more likely to be current. Downside: unused credits expire at the end of your subscription year.
Bizzy's data page describes validated email addresses and phone numbers of employees, plus the general company number and mailbox (Bizzy). Contacts are linked to job title, department and seniority, so you filter on a decision-maker rather than a company. Users on Trustpilot praise the coverage of mobile numbers in the Benelux and complain about the extra clicks since the latest workspace update (Trustpilot, four reviews, a small sample). For the other three tools we found no user reviews on Trustpilot, G2 or Capterra as of 7 September 2026.
Companyweb exports contact persons, phone numbers and email addresses as part of a prospect list, paid per address (Companyweb). The focus is on directors and mandate holders, not on the sales manager or HR lead you are actually looking for.
Qantara provides one email address and phone number per company in its Leads module, from €0.20 to €0.25 per contact (Qantara). That is the lowest price per contact of the four, but without job-title filters.
Verdict: Trends Top for cheap, surveyed Belgian contacts; Bizzy when you want to filter on decision-maker and role.
Which tool builds the sharpest prospect list?
Bizzy has the most filters, Trends Top the handiest Belgian tools, Companyweb the best deduplication against your own customer base.
Companyweb filters on language, region, headcount band, NACE code, financial parameters, health score and credit limit, and automatically deduplicates against your existing customer list (Companyweb). For a finance-led segmentation, say "all installers in Antwerp with healthy solvency", that is exactly what you need.
Trends Top bundles ProspectFinder for lists, GeoTop for geomarketing and lookalikes, DataOptimizer to enrich your own file by company number, and rankings by sector or revenue (Trends Top). It is the most complete Belgian toolset for a marketer mapping regions and sectors.
Qantara filters on sector, size, margin, growth trajectory and province, and scores every company on 39 official ratios with a letter grade from A to E (Qantara). Useful for finding financially healthy SMEs, too limited to turn an ideal customer profile (ICP) with roles, technology or vacancies into a list.
Bizzy offers more than 54 filters on firmographics, financials, technology, job title, department, seniority and vacancies, plus lookalikes based on your best customers and include and exclude lists via your CRM (Bizzy). If you have a sharp ideal customer profile, this is where you build the most precise list. If all you need is "every bakery in Limburg", you pay for more than you need.
Verdict: Bizzy for lists built from an ideal customer profile, Trends Top for Belgian geomarketing, Companyweb when deduplication against your customer base matters most.
Which tool tells you when to call?
Only Bizzy works with buying signals. Companyweb and Trends Top warn you, but about risk, not opportunity. Qantara does not warn at all.
Companyweb and Trends Top offer monitoring alerts: you get an alert on a bankruptcy, an address change or a falling credit limit (Companyweb, Trends Top). That is valuable for a credit controller. For a salesperson it is mostly a list of companies to stop calling.
Qantara sends no signals about prospects. It scores a company's financial health at a fixed point in time; the €39 monitoring plan only alerts you about your own company, connected to your own accounting (Qantara).
Bizzy tracks vacancies, funding rounds, new businesses, management changes, bankruptcies and news, and identifies which companies visit your website (Bizzy). A company hiring three sales profiles right after raising funding has a different problem than one that has run steadily for five years. That "why now" is what turns a list into a conversation.
The numbers show why timing matters. In 2025, 117,252 Belgian businesses closed, bankruptcies and voluntary closures combined, a record. Net growth in the number of companies fell to its lowest level in ten years (GraydonCreditsafe). A static list ages faster than a team can call through it.
Verdict: Bizzy, by a wide margin. Companyweb for anyone looking for risk signals.
Integrations and workflow
Bizzy and Companyweb have the broadest integration lists, Trends Top targets the software Belgian SMEs already use, Qantara has no CRM connection.
Companyweb speaks of more than 60 software integrations, including Microsoft Dynamics and SAP, and has its own connectors for Salesforce, HubSpot, Teamleader and Odoo, plus an API and mobile apps (Companyweb). The integrations are built around credit checks inside your ERP or CRM, and they do that well.
Trends Top connects to Teamleader, Odoo, Microsoft Dynamics, Efficy and a few Belgian CRMs, and has a Chrome extension that recognises the company behind a website (Trends Top). HubSpot, Salesforce and Pipedrive are not on the list.
Qantara integrates with accounting packages such as Odoo, BOB, Sage and Winbooks to analyse your own figures (Qantara). Leads are exported as CSV.
Bizzy sends companies and contacts straight into HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Microsoft Dynamics, Teamleader and Odoo, and into email tools such as Lemlist and La Growth Machine, with a Chrome extension for LinkedIn and company websites and a REST API (Bizzy). On the higher plans new leads are sent to your CRM automatically, so a rep never starts the day with a blank screen.
Verdict: Bizzy for sales teams working in HubSpot, Salesforce or Pipedrive; Companyweb for finance in ERP; Trends Top for Teamleader users.
Price and hidden costs
For a small Belgian team, Trends Top is the cheapest annual subscription for pulling lists, Qantara the cheapest per contact and the only one with a free plan, and Companyweb and Bizzy the pricier but more complete platforms.
Tool | Entry | What you get | Trial |
|---|---|---|---|
Companyweb | €735 per year (Basic), €985 (Standard), €1,235 (Premium), excl. VAT | 250 lookups per week; prospect exports paid per address; add-ons €250 to €500 per year | 7 days free, no credit card |
Trends Top | €300 per year (Consult), €620 (Marketing or Finance), €1,050 (Business, 2 users) | 1,000 to 2,500 prospect addresses included; extra exports €0.55 per address | 24-hour test login |
Qantara | €0 (5 contacts per month), €39 per month (monitoring of your own accounts), €59 per month (prospecting, 300 contacts) | Credits from €0.20 per contact, never expire | Free plan, no credit card |
Bizzy | On request, three plans: Core, Boost and Scale | Unlimited search on every plan; 1 to 25 users; 1 to 10 lead-generation agents (saved searches that push new leads to your CRM automatically); credits for exports and contacts | Free trial, no credit card |

Watch the hidden costs. At Trends Top, unused credits expire at the end of your subscription year. At Companyweb you pay per exported address on top of the annual subscription. At Bizzy you do not get a price without a conversation, something software directories such as Capterra also point out. The case for the higher entry point is that you buy more than a database: the signals, the CRM sync and the agents replace work a rep would otherwise do by hand.
Verdict: Trends Top or Qantara on a tight budget, Bizzy once your team loses more time to research than the subscription costs.
Who should choose what?
You are a credit controller or accountant and want to know whether a customer will pay: choose Companyweb. The health barometer, payment experience and compliance module are built for that question. Companyweb is also the official supplier of the professional institutes ITAA and IBR (Companyweb).
You are a marketer at a Belgian SME building sector or regional lists on a small budget: choose Trends Top. For €620 a year you get 1,000 prospect addresses, geomarketing and surveyed contact persons.
You want a cheap view of which Belgian SMEs are financially healthy: choose Qantara. The free entry and the scores on 39 ratios are hard to beat, as long as you do not need job-title filters or a CRM connection.
You run a sales team that has to book new conversations every week, in Belgium and beyond: choose Bizzy. It is the only one of the four that brings registry data, decision-makers, buying signals and your CRM together in one workflow. See how Bizzy finds and qualifies leads or start for free.
None of the four fits? If you only want to look up companies one at a time, the free KBO Public Search is enough. If you want a global contact database, look at the players we compare in Bizzy vs Lusha.

Frequently asked questions
Is Companyweb a prospecting tool?
Partly. Companyweb has a Prospecting module with filters on NACE, region, size and financial health, and exports contact persons per address. The platform is built for credit management and compliance, however, and is the official supplier of ITAA and IBR. For risk checks it is the reference in Belgium, for buying signals and CRM workflows it is not.
What is the difference between Trends Top and Bizzy?
Trends Top is a Belgian database with contact persons and geomarketing tools at a low annual price. Bizzy is a European platform that adds buying signals, website visitors and direct CRM sync to the same registry data. Choose Trends Top for a cheap Belgian list, Bizzy when you want to know which company to call today. We go through both in detail in Bizzy vs Trends Top.
What about Prospexi?
Prospexi came up in AI answers about Belgian prospecting tools, but on 7 September 2026 we found no working website, product page or price list. We only include a tool once we can verify its product and prices on a public page. Do you know the product? Tell us via the contact form and we will add it to this comparison.
Can I try these tools for free?
Yes, all four. Companyweb gives 7 days of free access, Trends Top a 24-hour test login, Qantara a free plan with 5 contacts per month and Bizzy a free trial. Companyweb, Qantara and Bizzy do not ask for a credit card; at Trends Top you request the test login through a form.
Are these tools GDPR-compliant for prospecting in Belgium?
All four base their company data on public registers. For personal data of contact persons, the Belgian Data Protection Authority notes that legitimate interest can be a legal basis for B2B direct marketing, provided you carry out a balancing test and offer an easy right to object (Data Protection Authority). Bizzy states on its data page that it does not collect data behind a login. Check with each vendor how contact data is collected and document your legal basis in your processing register. This article is not legal advice.
Which tool should I choose if I also sell in the Netherlands or France?
Bizzy, with data from 33 European countries. Companyweb covers the Netherlands and Luxembourg and offers other countries as a €500-a-year add-on. Trends Top and Qantara are Belgian.
