Bizzy vs Company.info: where the Dutch market leader is strong, and where it is not

Company.info is the established name for company information in the Netherlands. Part of FD Mediagroep, an official KVK service provider, with an offering that runs from company profiles through to KYC and compliance.

If you prospect in the Netherlands you will meet them. This piece sets out what they actually do, what it costs, and the two points on which the choice between them and us genuinely diverges.

60-second summary

Choose Company.info if you need KYC, compliance or risk assessment alongside prospecting, you are based in the Netherlands, and you want a single supplier for everything company-data related. Their breadth is real.

Choose Bizzy if prospecting is the job, your market runs beyond the Benelux, and you would rather pay per seat than commit to an annual contract on a department budget.

The deciding factor is price and shape, not data quality. Both build on official registers.

What Company.info is

Company.info supplies information on Dutch companies, with more than 500 data attributes and the status of KVK service provider. The offering spans an online portal, a KYC application, APIs, CRM and ERP connectors, and Marktview for market analysis and audience selection.

Marktview is the part that competes directly with prospecting tools. According to Company.info it covers all companies in the Netherlands and Belgium, with over 100 characteristics to segment on: sector, headcount, vehicle fleet, corporate relationships, province, growth signals, e-commerce activity and sustainability behaviour.

That is a serious product. Fleet and corporate-relationship data are attributes we do not supply, and for anyone targeting on those it settles the question.

Pricing, and where the surprise is

Company.info publishes its rates, which in this market is the exception rather than the rule. That deserves credit, and it makes a fair comparison possible.

Bar chart of the annual limits per plan on the Company.info online portal: Lite 84 profiles viewable and 1,800 exportable, Business 240 and 4,200, Pro 720 and 12,600.

Two things stand out.

The cap on viewing profiles. On Lite you may view 84 profiles a year. That is seven a month. For a rep checking companies daily it is gone in the first week. The export limit sits far above the viewing limit, which tells you the portal is designed for pulling lists rather than browsing records.

Marktview starts at €6,480 a year. That is the entry level for the prospecting functionality, for two users, billed annually with two months' notice. It is not a subscription an individual rep starts; it is a department decision.

Worked back per user, Marktview Business is a little over €3,200 per person per year and Pro a little over €4,300.

Where they are stronger than us

This belongs in any honest comparison, and here it is not a courtesy.

KYC and compliance. Company.info has a dedicated KYC product with onboarding and monitoring. We do not. If you need to screen customers for regulatory or UBO obligations, that is a separate purchase with us and not with them.

Dutch depth and standing. Being a KVK service provider means a direct, formal relationship with the Dutch trade register. For Dutch records that is worth something.

Attributes we do not hold. Vehicle fleet, corporate relationships and real-estate modules are not part of our offering. If you target on those, we are the wrong choice.

News and context. Through FD Mediagroep there is editorial business coverage that we do not provide.

Where it diverges

Geography. Marktview covers the Netherlands and Belgium. If your market runs further into Europe you will need a second source for that. Our coverage extends beyond the Benelux.

The shape of the product. Company.info is an information platform with a prospecting module attached. We are a prospecting platform. You feel that difference daily: they offer a portal to look things up and export from, while we are built around working lists continuously and acting on signals.

Pricing shape. Annual contracts with two months' notice against a per-seat subscription. Both are defensible. The difference matters most if you are starting small or want one team to try it first.

Signals. They offer growth signals and e-commerce activity. We lead with hiring and online reachability. Different signals, different timing.

Which should you choose?

Company.info if company information is needed more widely in your organisation than sales alone, and compliance or risk is part of the picture. Also if fleet or corporate-structure data are among your selection criteria.

Bizzy if prospecting is the job, you sell beyond the Benelux, or you want to start without committing to an annual contract for two users.

Both happens in larger organisations, with compliance sitting on their side and sales on ours.

To compare more widely, see our comparison of Belgian prospecting tools and Bizzy vs Sectora for the Belgian side of the same question.

The honest test does not change: take twenty existing customers matching your ideal profile, look them up in the tool, and count the usable results. Run it against us too.

Frequently asked questions

What does Company.info cost?

The online portal runs from €419 a year for Lite to €2,079 for Pro, one user throughout. Marktview, the audience-selection product, starts at €6,480 a year for two users and 15,000 exports. Billing is annual with two months' notice.

Does Company.info cover Belgian companies?

Yes. According to Company.info, Marktview covers all companies in the Netherlands and Belgium. For markets outside the Benelux you would need an additional source.

How many company profiles can I view?

84 a year on Lite, 240 on Business and 720 on Pro. The export limits sit far higher, which suggests the portal is intended for pulling lists rather than opening many individual records.
