The short answer
Clay costs 167 dollars a month on annual billing (185 dollars monthly) for Launch and 446 dollars a month on annual billing (495 dollars monthly) for Growth; there is a free plan and a custom Enterprise plan. Since its March 2026 repricing, Clay charges in two units: Data Credits for buying data from its marketplace of more than 150 providers (from 5 cents each) and Actions for the work Clay does, such as enriching a row, calling an AI model or pushing to a CRM (from under 1 cent each). Launch includes 2,500 Data Credits and 15,000 Actions a month, Growth 6,000 and 40,000. Every plan has unlimited seats. Prices are in dollars, contracts renew automatically at Clay's current rates, and fees are non-refundable.
Every price below comes from Clay's own pricing page, FAQ and terms, read on 30 September 2026.

Data Credits and Actions, explained
Data Credits pay for data bought through Clay: emails, phone numbers and company data from its providers. They start at 5 cents each and get cheaper at volume.
Actions measure the orchestration: enriching data, running a table, calling an AI model, sending data to another system or exporting. They start at under 1 cent each.
Bring your own keys. If you connect your own API keys for third-party data, you pay no Data Credits for that data, only Actions.
No result, no charge. An enrichment that returns nothing costs neither Data Credits nor Actions.
AI. Most AI models cost a flat number of Data Credits per task; token-heavy models are billed on actual token use, without markup.
Rollover. Actions reset every billing cycle. On Launch and Growth, unused Data Credits can build up to twice the monthly amount. Enterprise can roll over up to 15% of the previous year's credits when renewing at the same or a higher commitment.
What each plan adds
Free: multi-provider waterfalls, Claygent AI research, the Clay sequencer and up to 200 rows per table. No phone enrichment.
Launch: phone number enrichment, job change and signal tracking, email campaign integrations and up to 50,000 rows per table.
Growth: CRM auto-sync and enrichment, HTTP API integrations, webhooks, web intent signals, audience pushes to ad platforms and priority support.
Enterprise: the Clay API, data warehouse syncs, SSO, role-based permissions, unlimited bulk enrichment and a dedicated strategist.
What changed in March 2026
On 11 March 2026 Clay replaced its older plans with Free, Launch, Growth and Enterprise and split its single credit into Data Credits and Actions. In its own pricing memo, Clay said it had "priced Clay like a data product" while it had become a full go-to-market platform, cut marketplace data prices by 50 to 90%, lowered the premium on top-ups from 50% to 30%, and let existing customers keep their old plan through an opt-in window. Older comparisons that quote Starter, Explorer or Pro plans describe the previous structure.
Contract, privacy and reviews
Renewal. Contracts renew automatically "at Clay's most-up-to-date rates". You cancel through support or your account settings before the renewal date.
Refunds and prices. "Except as set forth in the Agreement, all fees are non-refundable." Clay reserves the right to change prices going forward.
Privacy. Clay lists SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001 and ISO 42001, offers a data processing agreement on request, and is a marketplace rather than a data owner, so coverage in Belgium depends on which providers your waterfall uses. EU hosting is not stated.
Reviews. Trustpilot shows 3.0 from 27 reviews (30 September 2026). G2 blocked direct access, and the top "Clay" listing on Capterra belongs to an unrelated accounting product, so we quote neither. Reviewers praise the flexibility and mention a steep learning curve and credits running out faster than expected.
