Bizzy vs Trends Top

Bizzy vs Trends Top: which one actually fills your pipeline?

Trends Top is one of the best-known company databases in Belgium, and for good reason. It covers effectively the whole Belgian business landscape, it is cheap to start with, and a lot of its contact data comes straight from the companies themselves.

But a database of every Belgian company is not the same thing as a list of companies worth calling this week. Trends Top tells you which companies exist. Bizzy is built to tell you which one to call today, and why.

Both read the same public sources: the Crossroads Bank for Enterprises, the Belgian Official Gazette and the annual accounts filed with the National Bank of Belgium. What they do with that data is where they separate.

Bizzy publishes this comparison. We say so up front, and we name the places where Trends Top is the better buy.

60-second summary

Choose Trends Top if you sell only in Belgium, work to a small fixed budget, and want geomarketing and sector rankings. At €300 to €1,050 a year it is the cheapest serious way to pull Belgian lists, and price is its strongest argument.

Choose Bizzy if your team has to book new conversations every week, you sell beyond Belgium, or you work in HubSpot, Salesforce or Pipedrive. Bizzy adds buying signals, website visitors and direct CRM sync on top of the same registry data.

Rule of thumb: Trends Top is a Belgian reference work. Bizzy is a prospecting workflow.

What are Bizzy and Trends Top?

Trends Top is the company database of Trends Business Information, the B2B information division of Roularta. It covers Belgium, publishes the well-known sector and revenue rankings, and sells access as an annual login. Roularta announced in September 2025 that it was exploring a sale of the division; as of September 2026 no sale has been announced.

Bizzy is a European B2B data and signals platform from Ghent. It combines official registry data from 33 European countries with decision-makers, buying signals and CRM integrations, so a rep starts the day with companies to call rather than a search box.

Data and coverage

Both are built on the same Belgian registry. Bizzy holds slightly more of it, and adds 32 more countries.

Trends Top shows 1,708,977 companies and 1,778,802 contact persons on its own homepage counters. Bizzy holds 1,825,441 active Belgian companies, checked on 14 September 2026. On Belgian coverage the two are close, with Bizzy slightly ahead.

That is not surprising, because both are built on the Crossroads Bank for Enterprises. Belgian registry data is not where either tool wins or loses. Any vendor claiming an edge there is selling you the same public source everyone else reads.

The difference is what sits on top of it. Bizzy adds 32 more European countries, company websites, LinkedIn profiles, vacancy data and financial data from Creditsafe. If you only ever sell in Belgium that European breadth is not an argument in Bizzy's favour — but the Belgian base is not an argument in Trends Top's favour either.

Contacts and decision-makers

Two different collection methods, and no published accuracy rates to compare them with.

Part of Trends Top's contact data is collected by surveying Belgian companies directly. That is a legitimate method and worth knowing about. Neither vendor publishes accuracy figures you could hold side by side, so treat any claim about whose names are fresher, including ours, with suspicion until someone shows you the test.

Bizzy takes a different route. Contacts carry job title, department and seniority, with validated email addresses and phone numbers, so you filter for the person who owns the problem rather than the person who signs the accounts. That is the difference between a list of companies and a list of people to contact.

Verdict: Bizzy when you need to reach a specific role, at scale, in more than one country. Trends Top when a company record with a name attached is enough.

Building a prospect list

Trends Top gives you list building, lookalikes based on your customers, enrichment of your own file by company number, geomarketing, and sector, revenue and municipality reports. For a marketer mapping Belgian regions and sectors, it is the most complete local toolset on the market.

Bizzy offers more than 54 filters spanning firmographics, financials, technology, job title, department, seniority and open vacancies, plus lookalikes from your best customers and include or exclude lists pulled from your CRM.

The practical difference: Trends Top segments the Belgian market. Bizzy segments your ideal customer profile.

Knowing when to call

This is the clearest gap between the two.

Trends Top offers monitoring alerts on your key accounts: changes, filings, risk events. That is useful, but it is largely a list of companies to be careful with.

Bizzy tracks buying signals: hiring activity, funding rounds, new businesses, management changes, financial movement and press mentions, and identifies which companies visited your website. A company hiring three sales profiles right after a funding round has a different problem from one that has run steadily for five years.

Timing is not a luxury in this market. A static Belgian list ages faster than a team can call through it.

Verdict: Bizzy, clearly.

Integrations and workflow fit

Trends Top connects to Impact XRM, Microsoft Dynamics, Odoo, Scribo, Teamleader and Efficy through standard plugins, with an API on request and a Chrome extension that identifies the company behind a website. If your company runs Teamleader or Odoo, that is a clean fit.

Notably absent: HubSpot, Salesforce and Pipedrive.

Bizzy pushes companies and contacts into HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Microsoft Dynamics, Teamleader and Odoo, plus email tools such as Lemlist and La Growth Machine, with a Chrome extension and a REST API. On higher plans new leads land in your CRM automatically.

Verdict: Trends Top for a Teamleader or Odoo shop. Bizzy for any team whose pipeline lives in HubSpot, Salesforce or Pipedrive.

Trends Top prices are excluding VAT, taken from its public rates page on 14 September 2026. Three-year contracts are billed as roughly six months free. On the Consult plan you build lists and pay per download, so the headline price is not the full cost of exporting.

Bizzy is priced on request across three plans, Core, Boost and Scale, with unlimited search on every plan and credits for exports and contacts. There is a free trial and it does not ask for a credit card. Trends Top offers a 24-hour test login, requested through a form.

Being straight about it: Trends Top publishes its prices and Bizzy does not. If you want to know your cost before you talk to anyone, that is a point for Trends Top.

Who should choose what

Choose Trends Top if: you sell only in Belgium, you want a fixed low annual cost, or you want geomarketing and sector rankings. It is also the better buy if your CRM is Teamleader or Odoo and you mainly need enrichment.

Choose Bizzy if: your team has weekly pipeline targets, you sell beyond Belgium, you need to reach a specific role rather than a company, you want to know which accounts are in market right now, or your pipeline lives in HubSpot, Salesforce or Pipedrive.
